Ron Wilkes

It is with deep regret that we have to inform you of the passing of one of our former colleagues Ron Wilkes.

Ron joined us in 1968 as a Sales Representative and quickly worked his way up to become Sales Director. He was instrumental in shaping Harfield into the company it is today, working closely with Lilian Hibbert to grow our school meals business.

Ron’s greatest skill was building relationships with everyone he met and he was known as the perfect gentleman.  He was trusted and respected by all his customers, many of whom regarded him as a friend. Indeed, this was also true of his competitors. He was totally committed and dedicated to his customers putting them first. He loved his garden and nature and was always happy when out with his dogs.

Our thoughts and sympathy are with Pauline, Melanie, Jeremy and the family, all of whom he was so proud of.
