Protecting our planet for future generations is a goal we all share and we are committed to creating and maintaining a healthy, safe and attractive environment for both our company and the community.

At Harfield, we’ve always been at the forefront of environmental strategies. Polycarbonate, one of the most eco-friendly materials available, is central to our efforts. Its robustness means it needs replacing less frequently than other materials. In addition, being 100% recyclable ensures it can be transformed into new products to bring it back to life. Uniquely, we offer a free recycling service to our customers, making us the only tableware manufacturer in the UK to do so.

Manufacturing entirely in the UK allows us to minimize transport emissions, unlike products made in the Far East. This also supports local jobs and ensures adherence to stringent UK employment and environmental standards. Additionally, our partnership with EPIQ means that all products are manufactured within the EU, maintaining high standards of employment and environmental responsibility.

Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our actions. Recent investments include the installation of solar panels and the replacement of all fluorescent lights with energy-efficient LEDs, demonstrating our dedication to reducing our environmental impact.
