The straws are reusable, 100% recyclable as well as dishwasher safe (please note we recommend eco wash cycle). The patented design allows you to separate the straw into two, after drinking, for easy clean without leaving residue. There is no need to use a brush with these straws and due to their opening principle they are more hygienic than straws made from other materials such as bamboo or stainless steel.
