Our Half Gastronorm Base is available in 6 colours – clear, black, emerald green, red, purple and blue.
They are made out of very high quality polycarbonate plastic, which is virtually unbreakable. The gastronorms will not chip, splinter or shatter, when dropped or knocked making them a safer option to use in busy kitchens or meal service areas.
Our gastronorms are great for food preps as they are suitable for both fridge storage as well as microwaves (for reheating food). Also perfect to use at salad bars, food displays etc.
Due to the nature of the material, this product is very lightweight making it easier to handle and carry the dishes comparing to metal or glass options.
We also stock an Oven 2 Tableware version of this 1/2 gastronorm base, which is made out of an ovenable material (Product Code: 064).
The gastronorms are dishwasher and sterilising sink safe. The are also stackable to help with space management and to free up space for other utensils. Will come in handy even in smaller kitchens!
